Start with the symptom

Tell us what you hear, feel, or see.

You do not need to identify the failed part. Those details help separate friction, hydraulic, caliper, rotor, bearing, hub, and related concerns.

Describe the problem

Squeal or grinding

Note when it begins and whether pedal pressure changes it.

Vibration or pulsation

Notice whether it is in the pedal, steering wheel, or whole vehicle.

Vehicle pulls

Record the direction and whether it happens only while braking.

Soft or hard pedal

Do not drive if the pedal sinks or normal braking is not available.

Hot smell or wheel

Smoke, extreme heat, or reduced braking means stop driving.

Speed-related hum

A hum that follows road speed may involve a bearing, hub, tire, or another component.

Brake-service questions

Know what to expect before requesting.

Photos of a rotor, wheel, or dashboard warning are optional and may help Pete prepare.

Do I need to know which part is bad?

No. Describe the noise, feeling, warning light, smell, and when it happens. Pete confirms the cause before recommending parts.

Can pads, rotors, calipers, and hubs be serviced at my home?

Many of these jobs can be handled at home or work when there is permission, a safe level surface, enough space, and the vehicle is a good mobile fit.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. Credit and debit cards are accepted, along with other arrangements confirmed with Pete. No payment is required to send a request.

Is the estimate confirmed before work begins?

Yes. Pete reviews the vehicle, symptoms, parts, location, and time before confirming price and the appointment.
